How It Works
Gecko Getaways offers a wide range of searches for you to use in order to find your dream properties from our extensive database. All bookings/enquiries are made direct with the owner or Agent, at their prices.
In our web directory, you can search for all associated services so that you can create a completely tailored holiday to suit your own taste. You can find 'Flights', 'Car Hire', 'Airport pickups', 'golf courses', 'Theme Parks' and even book excursions. This, plus much much more...If you are buying then we have listed associated services with buying a property abroad, such as 'Solicitors', 'Property Managers' and 'Banks'. This, plus much much more..

You can search for properties in two ways:
- For a defined search where you know where you would like to go, you can use the search box on the homepage to find properties by 'area' and 'type of accommodation'. You can then press the advanced search button to search by number of people etc. You will need to choose whether you are looking 'To Buy' or 'To Rent' at this point.
- If you have a particluar activity you are looking for or require a certain type of holiday, then you can search by holiday types. Searching in this way will find accommodation from all areas/Countries, which are within the chosen category. e.g. You can search by 'golf' and you will be presented only with properties that are near golf courses.
The property pages will list 'at a glance' information about the property, photos, descriptions, information on the area and much more.
- We have added a currency converter for your convenience - just click on the price to see conversion in: British Pounds, Euros and US Dollars.
- You can Tell a friend to share the experience and look at the same properties.
- You can shortlist properties, up to 5, and send one enquiry to all of them, cutting down your time and repetition.
Once you are on the page of the property of your choice, you can add the property to a shortlist (you may choose up to 5 properties). To make an enquiry please fill in the enquiry form, with your preferred dates, and submit. This will then be e-mailed to Gecko and the property owner/agent(s). The owner/agent(s) will then contact you to confirm the dates/booking direct. Alternatively, you can contact the owner/agent(s) direct if their contact details are available at the bottom of the property page.
