Known as the Golden Coast this region is quite different from it’s neighbour Costa Brava, with miles and miles of flat sandy beaches.
The historical cities of Reus and Tarragona, with its Roman ruins attract great interest, so too do the various sleepy fishing villages scattered along the coast. A wealth of restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
The region is home to some of Spain’s best wines, and inland are an abundance of beautiful vineyards.
Golf…….
It too is an emerging golf location, helped by good year-round weather. Bonmont, Panoramica, Aiguesverds and Costa Dorada Golf courses are four excellent courses, particularly popular with the Spanish.
